Inspiring Future Innovators

The Society of Women Engineers welcomed nearly 200 high school students from across Miami-Dade to the University for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, engaging them in hands-on STEM activities, such as this car-building challenge; tours of the College of Engineering’s labs; and conversations with female industry experts. The event aims to ignite enthusiasm for engineering among young women to address their underrepresentation in the field.
